I love art tools that are artistic on their own. This set fits the bill to a T. Included in the set is a brush washing cup and a small palette. The cup features a carved rim that doubles as a brush rest with multiple places to place your brush and it won't roll off.
On the cup, there are 4 sculptural faces with intricate little folk art-inspired scenes painted in between each of them. The interior and a band around the base are glazed with my favorite discontinued glaze. Each face has a unique expression, and they all have little touches of color that add to the folk art aesthetic. The kidney style palette is simple on top, just featuring a matching flower and some leaves around the hole, but the bottom echoes the cup design with a small, intricate painting. The palette can be hung on a hook or nail by the hole for display or storage when not in use.
Cup measures 3 inches tall x 3.25 inches wide, and the palette is approximately 4 inches long and 3.25 inches wide.
